Playing Experience

1980-present: Since coming to the United States I’ve played in various local adult leagues, beginning with the German-American Club. I’ve played in various local leagues and now am playing again in the CVSA (Central Virginia Soccer Association.)

1978-1980: Player-coach in two amateur teams in Italy.1967-1978

1961-1964: Played for Pignone Cattolica Virtus, in Florence, Italy

1954-1960: Participated in NAGC (youth program of the Fiorentina (Florence, Italy’s professional team) and played for two years on the youth team.

Coaching Experience

1996-present: Started the soccer program at Richmond Montessori School. The program consists of a varsity team (ages 11,12 & 13) , a J.V. team (ages 8, 9 & 10) and indoor-outdoor clinics for all kids ages 4 to 7 where the focus is on the basics of the game.

1996-1997: Assistant Coach at Longwood College.

1988-1989: Started the girls’ soccer program at Patrick Henry H.S., in Ashland, VA.

1984-1986: Started the soccer program at Clover Hill H.S. in Chesterfield County. While I was Head Soccer Coach, we won two regional championships.

1980-1988: Coached VCU Men’s Varsity team with the title of Technical Director.

1978-1980: Player-coach in Italy.

1980-present: Private lessons

1981-present: I offer youth soccer camps in the Richmond area every summer.
