For boys and girls ages 3 1/2 to 13
COVID-19 update: The safety of campers is important. We will follow all state guidelines regarding group size, social distancing (campers will be in groups of 10, 40 yards apart) and wearing of masks by staff. If camps need to be cancelled because of new restrictions, your fee will be refunded in full.
Whether in private lessons or in one of the summer camps, children will gain many benefits from Coach Baldini's extensive experience as a player and coach. They will, of course, learn and enhance their skills, but they'll also have active and healthy fun.
Coach Baldini has been coaching soccer and running camps in the Richmond area since 1981.
He gives young children expert instruction in basic soccer skills without putting competitive pressure on them. Soccer is a game; it should be fun.
The youngest campers, 3 1/2-5 years old, alternate learning the basics with playing skill games.
The older campers, ages 6-13, will be divided into two groups 6-7 and 8-13 years old. They will practice different drills to cover, as much as possible in five days, the basic skills.
All campers will learn sportsmanship and the benefits of being part of a team.
When we reach the last day I want everyone to have had an enjoyable experience and to come away with more confidence in ball handling and more knowledge of game tactics.
The coaches are mostly young people who have played or coached previously for Coach Baldini and were selected because they have good rapport with youngsters and they are very good at teaching the game.
